What are points?
For every question you ask, every question you answer or every puzzle you post, you receive points. You can view your point totals by viewing your profile and clicking the "Points" tab. If you are asking and answering enough questions, you will see yourself atop our Leaderboard to claim bragging rights. The more questions you ask or answer, the more points you get.
How Many Points do I Get?
The number of points you are awarded depends on the action you take. For example, if you ask a question, you receive 1 point. If you answer a question, you receive 2 points. All users receive a one-time 100-point credit for participating in Ask@ENGINEERING.com. The full scoring system is as follows:
