definitely. Tools focused on management skills , new process implementation and financial issues, can all be applied to the service industries. Our main goal is to make things easier and efficiently, and the tools can be used in almost all aspects of life.

yes, is probably as important as industries,apply knowledge of industrial engineering in the service area, services are growing fast and need direction in all the process related to the service

Yes it may be applied to services. Modern industry is drawing its attention to the processes of transforming intangible resources into efficient and quality services. ie: banks, flights, etc.
