Our Windsor based client has an exciting career opportunity in its manufacturing operations organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual to play an integral role in driving and supporting our business goals and objectives for profitable, sustainable growth. The right candidate should have a proven track record of leadership, to bring about results. He or she will act as a proactive liaison between engineering and manufacturing personnel to assure that our customers’ requirements are met. Core Responsibilities:
•Plan the manufacturing process of part from drawings, specification sheets and other instructions.
•Disposition and generate repair procedures for nonconforming material
•Determine proper machining elements to achieve maximum efficiencies and quality.
•Proactively participate in Lean Enterprise projects for assigned areas.
•Update and upgrade processes using latest methods and technologies.
Education, Experience and Behavioral Competency Requirements:
•B.S. Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
•5+ years of experience in Engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably aeropsace.
•Must have experience with CAD, Spreadsheets and Data Processing Software (Unigraphics experience a plus).
•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
•Certified Manufacturing Engineer preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse customers and team members.
