Why are you interested in an engineering career:
When I was a little child, I always looked at the highest buildings of Istanbul and wondered; “How are these giantic buildings made?” When I was 12 years old and started elemantery school I began to realize the engineering fundamentals and the intelligence in engineering. This feelings gave me a great interest and a great chance of exploration in engineering. After the elemantry and high school education, I wanted to be a Civil Engineer and design the greatest buildings.. I entered the Turkish University Examination (OSS) and I was admitted to Geophysical Engineering Faculty in Sakarya University. In my university years I’ve been working a lot to be a classified good engineer and everyday I discover a new great point of engineering. I’m so interested in the ethics of engineering and want to improve global human life using engineering technics and projects. For that reasons I want to participate in this student advisory board.

What is the biggest engineering challenge currently facing your country:

The biggest problem occurs in Civil Engineering disciplines and building industry. Our urbanization plans weren’t designed systematicly and for that reason we start to have problems in traffic, sewerage systems and unplanised constructions. And the second big problem is we don’t use the recyclable natural energy.
